Air Release Valve

Product Description.

An easily operated “ball float” mechanism is used by the automated air release valve, which is housed in the top valve chamber. When the pipework is originally charged with water, air is expelled via the vent hole until water reaches the ball chamber. When the pipe network is pressurised, the rubber ball will be forced up towards the vent hole and sealed there.

There is no need for maintenance, however if any little debris becomes stuck in the upper valve chamber, it may be removed by popping up the top cap.
